LAUNCHING A STUDENT APP

CLIENT CHALLENGE

The University of Glasgow wanted develop a student focused app that could provide all students with the same quality access to the services they may need and the opportunity to find their way around campus easily.

WHAT WE DID

We worked with the University to bring together a multidisciplinary T-shaped team and introduced Agile techniques and an user-centred service design approach.

WHAT WE ACHIEVED

• Rapid App Development - Adopting Agile methodology allowed us to develop the app's first iteration within six weeks.
• Student-Centric Design - Involving students in the design process created an app that was tailored and built for students, by students and has become the ‘must have’ app for students to navigate university life.
• Empowered Team - Having gained a deeper understanding of rapid deployment of digital products and core service design principles, the team is well positioned to build future digital solutions that work.
